MISSION STATEMENT
Polk Senior Games provides an annual event of competitive athletic and recreational events for men and women 50 years and over. The Games promote an active, healthy lifestyle, an interest in sports, and volunteerism. The Games offer something for everyone - the serious competitor, the fun at heart, the seasoned athlete, and the physically challenged. |

Providing Fun and Friendly Competition
for Men and Women 50 Years and Over

Open to men and women 50 years and over

Must be 50 years of age by December 31st of competition year.

Polk County Residency is not required

Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded in each event and age division

$10 entry fee for first event, $3 fee for each additional event up to $28; Facility fees for 18-Hole Golf, Bowling, and Shooting; Team Sports have fee for team

Events held throughout Polk County

Receive a T-shirt specially designed by local artist Chryssie B. Tavrides

Invite family and friends to a free Closing Celebration at The Lakeland Center for special awards, entertainment, door prizes, goody bags and health fair

Entry Booklet mailed by request; Entry form can be printed from website

Registration begins January 2010; Entry must be postmarked by February 10th or hand delivered by February 12th, 2010.
